The Spirit continue their tour of northern Ontario with a trip to Sudbury. If you missed it, Saginaw is coming off an upset shut out win over North Bay last after getting out shot 46-18. Thank you Mr. Cormier! With the workload he faced and the opponent tonight, you have to figure that this gonna be Ovjannikov's game. This also reeks of "let down game". Let hope they don't take, even as bad as they are, the wolves lightly.

Spirit escape with a 3-2 win. And the theme of revenge agains old teams continues on the weekend as Paliani got the game winner.

Watched the game on OHL Livestream. The video was marginal and the audio (SBY announcer) was worse. Here is what I saw:
With about 2.5 seconds left, several Wolves went after Brown. Didn't see what he did or said. Nothing really developed. As time ran out, all hell broke loose. Sadowy exchanged punches with a SBY player right in front of the Wolve's bench. Lots of pairing off, but no other fisticuffs developed that I could see. Lots of mulling around until players finally exited the ice.
