Some guy on ESPN has Mitchell going in the first round to the Capitals. While I doubt that his stock has risen all the way to the first round, it wouldn't surprise me to see someone grab him in the 2nd. Most people think he's a top of the 3rd round player but you never know, one team may really like him and grab him before other teams have a chance to. starsandsticks.com/2015/05/29/washington-capitals-2015-draft-profile-mitchell-stephens/

The draft begins tonight! Don't think we see any current Spirit players taken in the first but it will be interesting to see who takes Kyle Connor tonight. However unlikely he is to report, being taken in the first round raises his chances of coming up greatly.
As far as current players go, it might play out like this IMO:
Stephens-late 2nd/early 3rd Artemov-mid 5th/6th/7th Crawford-6th/7th Barwell-borderline
Good luck to all Spirit draft elligibles though. And remember that even if you aren't drafted, it is not the only path to the show. The real work starts after the draft.

Winnipeg takes Connor at 17 and I don't know if this helps us or not.

Mitchell goes 3rd in the 2nd round (33rd overall) to Tampa Bay. He looks like an Yzerman clone, so should be good fit

Former Spirit Jeremiah Addisson went late in the 7th round to Montreal. No other Spirit players were drafted.

I think Mitchell Stephens projects to be more of a Kris Draper type player in the NHL, but we will see.
