The Spirit are back in action tonight against the Majors of Mississauga St. Michaels, in the first of a "3-in-3" weekend road trip, which also includes stops in Erie and Kitchener. Saginaw won the first game between these two clubs 6-1 back on October 27 in Saginaw. The Spirit come into this weekend with a record of 7-8-2-1, good for 17 points, 5th in the Western Division, and 8th in the Western Conference. Mississauga carries a record of 7-11-1-0, good for 15 points, 4th in the Central Division, and 8th in the Eastern Conference. Hopefully our momentum from our big win over the Soo carries over into this weekend.
Let's go Spirit!!!

I would expect Mr Allicock to have a go or two tonight...if you forgot, this was the team he earned his suspension against (for 2nd fight started). I believe Neuber is out for Missy so J. Mac won't have to taste his uppercut again. Tough one to predict with the home team usually hitting harder so I'll predict a 4-2 loss with the 4th being an empty-netter.

I predict a win 4-3 for the Spirit. Sucks that there isn't any home games.

Who will start in goal? Parker who played well and IMO earned the start, or the other guy?

LOL! Who saw Mcdonough throw himself on the ground in the 3rd after that trip? What a dramatic dive.

Alright, what the hell Saginaw. 4 goals by ONE player? How about we TRY to stay out of the box, for once? And uh, stay on 16...since he's the ONLY one scoring .

I will be shocked if Colorado signs Williams. I think they have to sign him by June 08 or lose his rights. He continues to make bone-head plays and really has not improved much since he has come here. Lights on, no one home.

Sometimes I think the rookies outplay the drafts.

Jump out to a 2-0 lead and give up another short handed goal (how many is that this season, they must lead the OHL in that category??) in the 3rd which ended up being the game winner. GEEZ OH PETE!!! Maybe Watson had the boys doing Herbies in Missy before they hopped on the bus to go to Erie!! Saginaw will be fortunate to get 3 points this weekend now instead of what I thought would be at least a 4 point weekend.

Maybe Watson had the boys doing Herbies in Missy before they hopped on the bus to go to Erie!! FWIW, the team is staying in Buffalo tonight. Maybe coach will have them swimming upstream in the Niagara River when they arrive. The guys played a solid first period, a poor second period, then gave it away late in the 3rd. After Ty Murovich scored a nice goal on a givaway in St. Mike's end to give the Spirit a 3-2 lead, we gave them a goal back in much the same manner. JT (in St. Kitts)

JT....how did Van Buskirk play?? Could you fault him on any of the 4 St. Mikes goals?? Since I did not see it anywhere in the thread, the final score was 4-3 St. Mikes.
