Conner was one of those guys who was hurt during training camp and Coach Watson felt he didn't get a chance to really check him out. He was activated for Sunday's game with Kitchener. He is listed as a "Floating Affiliate" player. Which basically means he is up for a little look see on an availability basis. He can be called up for a maximum of 10 games during the regular season then for an unlimited amount of time one his team (North York Rangers) season is over. Not sure if he will be in the lineup for any games this weekend.

I believe any games he plays during the World Junior championships do not count towards the 10 game total. If he were to play game #11 then the Spirit have to use up a player card on him.

connor is a great kid. a couple seasons ago, he came to saginaw and stayed briefly with my family. i told him he would eventually get a chance.
