I'm not sure why it is but how is it so quiet on this board after Spirit wins?
Traffic is never higher on here when there is an "issue" like a loss or when coaching or management is called into question.
This was a team "destined" by all the knowledge on this board for a disastrous season and at thanksgiving is a .500 team?
The Spirit have the played the most road games (14) in the league with only 9 home games - only Erie has a ratio like that (and look at their record)
Call me crazy, but I guess if it isn't bad news it isn't news here in Saginaw!

It's simple really. These forums tend to draw folks who are "arm chair general managers". Now the basic job of the GM is to make things better. Have you ever heard the phrase "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"? Well that applies here. When the teams plays as they did last night, there isn't much to fix so there for there isn't much to talk about. My only argument from last night came at the end of the game. I have always thought who ever picked the three stars in Saginaw did a pretty good job but last night I think they spent too much time in the bathroom and not enough time watching the game. Now they did get the first star right, but that was a no brainer. Anytime a player gets a hat trick against his former team that's a number one star. After that, they were just throwing darts. Peace.
