Spirit fans... tonight's game (11/30/07) v. Kingston at the Dow has been postponed, due to an accident involving Kingston players in Windsor. The Spirit will resume action tomorrow, 12/1/07 at 7:11 PM at the Dow versus Kitchener. Watch www.saginawspirit.com for further details. Also, as some of you have accounts on the NOOF, could you please post something there for us? Thanks in advance. Cam

To follow up, two players, Jonathan Sciacca and goaltender Anthony Peters were both hit by a car crossing the street in front of their hotel in Windsor & are both in the hospital with NON-life threatening injuries. www.thewhig.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=800207That is horrible. Best wishes to the players. Hope they have a speedt recovery.

That's tough news, however depending on when it's rescheduled it could negate a "3 in 3 weekend". I think London, the Sunday opponent, is playing "3 in 3"

Fronts game against Plymouth that was scheduled for tonight (Saturday) has also been cancelled. The Kingston team went home. Per NOOF and several newspapers: Back-up goalie Anthony Peters sustained a compound leg fracture and will require surgery. Jon Sciacca received facial lacerations. Trainer had They were crossing a very busy street going to a convenience store across from the motel. We stayed about a block from the incident after the last Windsor game. About 10 team members witnessed the accident. Speed limit in that stretch is 50 kph, but cars routinely travel 60-65 kph (about 40 mph).
