Spirit notch another victory over the top team in the OHL, a 2-0 victory over the Rangers. Ryan Daniels went the distance for the shutout and Zaborsky and Ryan McDonough notched the goals. Sounded like a great team effort!

I wish I was there - instead I missed it because I was home cleaning out the garage so we could fit the cars in there tonight! hahaha! So... how were the roads after the game? haha!
Was there any announcement of this 'new goon' who was SUPPOSED to be in the lineup tonight? According to the scoresheet there was no new goon...

very good game, daniels did not have to be spectacular tonight but made some very nice saves at times to keep the two goal advantage. The Spirit dmen blocked a lot of shots and had some nice backchecks to take away goals. It was good they got those two goals because there were really not a lot of good scoring chances besides one by Mursak where he hit a heckuva lot of post. good effort tonight!!!

He had 2 last year .. 1 at home against Erie, then 1 on the road against Belleville(when he started wearing the white helmet)
Speaking of the white helmet, I believe Daniels is wearing a painted one now? anyone know anything or hear anything about that?

Its his 3rd of his career - had two last year. They need more games like that from Daniels and Van Buskirk.
I was impressed again with the young blueliners last night with their OA defenseman out of the lineup against one of the top teams. The trio of Comrie, Crawford and Brodie were really steady last night - throw in Sol and it bodes well for the next 2-3 years for the Spirit.

Could not agree more Crawford and Brodie have played like 19 year olds these last few games. They have come up huge on the penalty kill and are doing a great job clearing rebounds from in front of the net. Not to mention kicking in on the scoring a little.
