Saginaw trades an unspecified draft pick to Guelph for 1990-born defenseman Joe Underwood. Underwood is a Canton, MI native who has 2 assists and a +3 with 6 penalty minutes in 19 games this season.

According to a couple of posts on the NOOF this morning, Underwood has left Guelph and is undergoing a physical before the trade is approved.
This kid had a pretty solid season last year and logged lots of ice but broke his wrist in camp and hasn't played since. Excellent acquisition if he can recover from his injury and a Michigan kid to boot! (He's from Canton)

According to a couple of posts on the NOOF this morning, Underwood has left Guelph and is undergoing a physical before the trade is approved. This kid had a pretty solid season last year and logged lots of ice but broke his wrist in camp and hasn't played much since. Excellent acquisition if he can recover from his injury and a Michigan kid to boot! (He's from Canton) Sorry, typo - I meant has played "much" (since the injury)
