Couple Comments:
Allicock's fight wasn't too bad, he got some shots in but definitely lost the fight, no knock down or anything but the other guy landed more including a good uppercut.
Soo showed that they are a better overall team...however, they will not do well in the playoffs because their goalie (Gajewski) is not elite...he's good, but not good enough to roll through the playoffs.
Jarram...earn your paycheck, we're down 5-2, take someone on for the team. You've got Peluso sitting there who would be a willing combatant, you fought him in NHL training camp...give it a go for the home fans for pete's sake. Thank you Rookie Allicock for doing what the OA Jarram should do.

What did everyone think of the trumpet( I think that is what he was playing- some kind of horn ) player during the game last night?
He was having a good time but I'm sure it would not have been so good if he were to fall on the ice from the top of the glass.
In case you didn't see it I think it was while the review was going on he decided that he wanted everyone to know that he was in the arena and he climbs with horn in hand to the top of the glass beside the Spirit bench to play a tune. This turned out to be not the smartest move as he lost his balance and ended up hanging by one ankle and one hand from the glass. He made a miraculous recovery until he pulled himself up to straddle the glass and found there was no pdding between his "boys" and the top of the glass. Now he was playing a different tune!!
I think fans like this are great for the spirit of the game but some time they go a little too far.

I was talking after the game about that exact same thing that Jaraam should start to do something or give one of the what 4-5 players that are forced to watch the game a chance to do something.
He has done next to nothing for us in the toughness department so far. I don't think anyone thought he was brought in to score goals so do what you are supposed to do and make some room for the skilled players to do waht they do best.
One perfect example is when the Soo player drove to the net and slid into Daniels and NOBODY did anything.

I think fans like this are great for the spirit of the game but some time they go a little too far. The trumpet player is the somewhat famous (infamous?) Claude Scott from Quebec City. Claude has been entertaining at hockey games "forever". He is (was) billed as "The Happy Trumpeter" and did home games for the Quebec Nordique before they moved to Colorado. The "fall" is just part of his act. Last night, he was having difficulties with his microphone and seemed much tamer than the last time we saw him several years ago. Didn't even know he was going to be there last night.

Having him play "Wonderful World" between periods was a questionable choice--great song, but not for a hockey game. Our whole row was all mellowed out and half asleep when the team came out!!! Agree about Jarram, and said the same thing during the game. We didn't get him for his puck handling skills--it shouldn't have to be a 16 year-old out there taking one for the team.
