According to OHLINSIDERS, he and Ian Lemieux have been traded to Barrie.

If true, this trade makes Zero sense. We are looking for a high end or quality center not a project. Have you seen his numbers? There would have to be more involved or some darn good picks to make this deal as presented palatable.

So 2 seconds, 2 thirds, a fifth, and a depth LW.

I’ll take those picks for Porco. I like it.

Well, yeah, except those draft picks arent really going to help in a year we are supposedly going for it. (Caveat: There could be another deal coming up)

I believe this makes the third son of a former Saginaw player to play for the Spirit. The other two were the Hotham brothers. Were there any others?

Please all of you tell me what we have to make it a "go for it" year? That thought has vanished with Prosvetov and Wilde not coming back. What's is left Coskey, Perfetti...? Giroux, Jenkins, and Busdeker...? and...?
What cost to add a Tippett What to add a McLeod What to add a Wilde and another top Dman
What to add a a quality goalie and not a Prosvetov
you all see what I mean?

Going for it or not will be very dependent on where they are at in the standings in late December/early January before the January 10th trade deadline.
