Abundance of OHL Talent on AHL Opening Night Rosters
The London Knights lead OHL clubs with 15 past and present players on the list followed by the Saginaw Spirit and Soo Greyhounds with 14 and the Kitchener Rangers, Ottawa 67’s and Owen Sound Attack with 11. There are also at least three others that played for Saginaw but finished their careers with other teams, so they're list as playing for the team they last played for. It also doesn't include Cole Perfetti who's on the Jets taxi squad.
