Saginaw dressing 9 forwards tonight in Flint. Missing Wong, Codd, and Phillips in COVID protocol and McNamara at the Capital City tourney in Ottawa.
Also missing Savard on D, who is with McNamara in Ottawa. Still no sign of Jovanovic.
And Lennox is injured too.

Spirit battle but lose 5-3 to Flint. 2 goals from Sapovaliv and 1 from Mintyukov.
Next game is Friday night in Windsor.

Tough result because honestly I thought Saginaw dominated for long stretches of the game. Had several grade A chances in the first and third period, but couldn't find the back of the net on most of them. On to the next one, I guess.
I've been wondering what the situation is regarding Jovanovic. Anyone know if he's hurt? I might be out of the loop.

Last I heard is he has a shoulder injury and wants to play, but the coaches are being cautious with him and want to make sure he's 100% before playing him. Now I heard this back a few games into the season, so I don't know of anything new since then. Someone on Facebook said they've seen him at games with his arm in a sling. |
