Well, Wheeling won tonight 1-3 against Reading, forcing game 5 @ Wheeling where series to be determined in best of 5. Series now 2-2. I'm not sure when game 5 will be played----I'll let ya know if I find out.
Hopefully, game 5 will be a game that will give Nick more ice time than he got tonight.
Good Luck Nick!

Did anyone listen to the beginning of tonight's game? I missed the beginning. Is Nick Lees on the ice tonight? It is now in the 3rd period. Royals currently ahead 3-0.

No Nick did not play again last night, he was a healthy scrach. If they have a full lineup (no injuries) he seems like the first forward to sit. The good thing is they won so on to the next round. Go Royals Go GO NICK GO we're still behind you.

I wish the Royals had a better web-site. They take forever to up date their information.
They need to up-date their info to include Nick's Spirit stats and also his Royal stats need updating also.
I guess I'm spoiled with how great the Spirit web-site is.
Good Luck Nick!

I was just dreaming.........
Would it be possible for the OHL to amend their rules to allow teams to have 1 permanent-over-ager who would play on the ice as well as coach(?) And of course, you know Nick would be great at both. And our coaching problem would be taken care of as well. Just a thought.
Remember.......Dreams do come true.

I just remember Dix saying that he and Lees would be back in a couple of years to coach together.
Why not just move a couple of years up to this coming season? It's not like we don't have a position available.
Like I said, Dreams can come true, or should I say "MIRACLES" do happen.

I agree the Royals web site is not near what we have been used to with the Spirit. The broadcasts are not of the same quality either. I can put up with those things I just wish Nick would get more ice time. He went threw this 3 - 4 years ago, early in his junior career. As for coaching? I think he is a little young, give him a few years, I'am sure he would love to come back to the Spirit organization as they treated him first rate all the time. Go Nick Go!
