i wouldn't be surprised to see Dix end up somewhere like Flint. Adam Sturgeon plays on the team so it may be a good fit for him. Plus he is fun to watch so I may travel to see him.

Some varied opinions about Dix from the Dayton fans. I noticed that someone commented about Marco Caprera playing for Dayton and that's part of the reason he was released. Anyone happen to check out the UHL forum and all of the bad mouthing of Flint Generals owner Dr. Shekairy (sp??). Thank God Saginaw has OHL hockey and no more of that bottom feeding minor pro league garbage. |

im not a flint fan in the least but i have went to flint a few times in the past 3 years to watch em get there butts spanked..heheh..last year they seemd like they all hated thier team and ownership. they lost that game to the danbury trashers .lololo this year i plan on going there during hunting season bcuz our team is out of town for the whole weekend. flint plays the quad cities mallards and they have won all of thier games so far..go mallards !!!! is anyone wanting to go to flint nov 12th for something to do...ps, im sick of them talking about our team. maybe we should wear our spirit jerseys and shirts and give em something to really talk about..

Dix scored a goal and racked up some penalties for the Port Huron Flags against Flint last night. Word is after being cut from Dayton, he was directed to Port Huron by Costa Papista, who used to be the GM for a previous Port Huron UHL team. The fans on the PH chat board seem to really like Dix's aggressive style, even though he is far from a heavyweight in the "U." In fact, the Flags, agfter signing Dix, cut their two "tough guys" from the roster.
Was able to see Dix play last week. Still the same aggressive player. Played with a lot of energy. Seems to have bulked up a bit since leaving Saginaw.
Adam Sturgeon played last night for Flint. I believe he received one penalty, but didn't figure in the scoring. Josh Tataryn plays at Port Huron tonight for the Roanoke Valley Vipers (formerly the Port Huron Beacons).

Dix got into the only fight of the game last night for the Port Huron Flags, early in the game. The Flags won, 5-4, over the Roanoke Valley Vipers.
Josh Tataryn bagged a hat trick for the Vipers.
I believe Adam Sturgeon also scored a goal for the Flint Generals last night.
(yes, I was bored last night)
