Gary Klapkowski signed a contract with the Dayton Bombers of the ECHL.
Also in the 'E', goalie Mike Brown was activated from IR by the Johnstown Chiefs.

Holy cow... Gary Klapkowski had 20 goals & 24 assists for 44 points in 15 (FIFTEEN!!!!!) games in the MAHL?? No offense, but man, how bad must that league suck?

YEOW!! Certainly never saw any of that offensive flash here, GK!!!
I think he got signed because Dayton suspended a guy, so it's probably short-lived. But I can see why those numbers--even if they are in the Midgets of America Hockey League--got Dayton's attention...........

I think it stands for Mid Atlantic Hockey League & plays out of rinks in hockey hotbeds like Valley Forge, Jamestown, Mon Valley, Wooster & my fav, the team w/2 states for a name, Indiana, PA - where they average 100-700 fans per game.) |

Umm, no, that "guy" would be Chanse Fitzpatrick, who was suspended by the team immediately before GK signed. Peter was suspended about 5 days ago. So I guess actually we can both be correct on this one.  SGF--Really? You're sure?? I could have sworn it was the Midgets' League. ;D |

.....and Klapkowski has been put on waivers by Dayton. I'm guessing Flache and/or Fitzpatrick are coming pack from suspension.
