Ok, I know there's more than a few of us people out there who like the old hair metal bands, right? Or at least USED to! Well, I booked 2 concerts locally (one in Saginaw & 1 in Bay City) & would love to have everyone come out for the shows! how bout poison, g-n-r, motley crue,,, ;D I actually WILL be booking Bret Michaels, the singer from Poison, later this year (Summertime). GNR did break up about a million years ago, but I do book Adler's Appetite, which is Steven Adler, the original GNR drummer & his new band. Big issues there, & I am trying to stay away from that band tho! Motley Crue - the best band of all time!!! haha! Sorry, they were always my fav band! They got me into this kind of music! ANYWAY, if they were not getting $150,000+ per show, I'd book them in a second! They have priced themselves out of the Saginaw market - tix at the Dow would have to be $50+ each for the Crue, & people around here wouldn't pay that! I would, & I know some others would, but realistically can you get 6,000 people to pay that much? Nope.

Just wait tho, I just confirmed another BIG band - one who has music on the radio NOW (not an old cheese band!). But I can't announce it until Feb. 27th. The show is in May... ahh, the suspense!!! ;D ;D

WOW! What a weekend, 4 days actually! Started with the Stephen Pearcy show in Bay City, which was cool. Unfortunately Bulletboys ended up not being on the bill due to scheduling conflicts, but Pretty Boy Floyd filled in for them. UNFORTUNATELY, Pretty Boy Floyd & Bang Tango were late in arriving to the club which delayed the whole show & as a result, PBF only got to play 3 songs.
Night 2 was Warrant, Firehouse & L.A. Guns down in South Bend, IN. What a FUN night! Everyone in these bands is so nice. L.A. Guns were great, played a long set for an opener. Firehouse was 2nd & RULED the night! They sound just as good, if not BETTER, than "back in the day"! They were phenominal! Warrant was OK, but I was disappointed with their new singer. Just isn't the same & he couldn't really hit the notes. Stayed at the Mariott in downtown South Bend - I highly recommend that place if you ever happen to visit South Bend. Nice town! Long drive, but nice place!
Last night was day 3 - we caravaned back to Saginaw w/L.A. Guns - kinda - they were a bit ahead of us, & after checking out of the hotel @ noon & stopping for breakfast, we made the 3.5 hour drive home, which was more like 4 hours & it got me in town just in time to make it to Shooter's for the L.A. Guns load-in. GREAT show at Shooters. Not a lot of people, but good showing of fans. After The Ashes opened & were fantastic. They (ATA) will be back March 2nd with Firehouse.
Ok, there's my story. Hope you all enjoyed it. hahaha!!!
I know you all wanted to know what I did this week! hahaha! ;D
