I saw both Mursak and Zaborsky last night. As BP said, Mursak is playing in Traverse City, and I think Zaborsky is as well. I was also told that Tyler Haskins was/is in town to work out with the club prior to going to training camp (Islanders I think). I saw Tront at the game in the stands. Not sure what that means, but I did not see Ogilvie. I would say that bodes very badly for Ogilvie. But for the record, I did not see Pachis there either, but he is hurt so I did not expect to see him. I saw Oglivie walking around w/ Kain Allicock between periods. I agree with your assessment of his chances, though.

sf8, good job on the rundown for the Soo fans on the NOOF. I don't want to knit-pick, but St. Jacques played the whole game for the Soo. You listed as O'Hagan playing the first two periods.
I know, I have issues!

I was mentioned that Sherry Bassin, Erie's GM, was in attendance last night. So too was Bob Boughner, Windsor's head coach, and Dave Torrie, Soo's GM. I saw them in the lobby talking with Goslin before the game. There could have been more, but those were the three I saw.

At this time of year GMs are seen at a variety of exhibition games as the waiver wires tend to smoke in September. I went down to Sarnia for the game against London last Sunday and saw a similar contingent of GMs at that game too.

Wow--really?? I could have sworn it was O'Hagen in there early......my bad. (That's not nit-picking, that's correcting an out-and-out error, BTW) I could still swear I saw O'Hagen early. This bodes ill for my continually advancing senior-citizen status.......

Since you picked my quote, I will respond.
I didn't say it meant anything. I was making an observation as to who was in attendance. That's it. No speculation as to why they were in attendance, just that they were there. I thought that people who were not in attendance may have wanted to know who was there. Evidently, I thought wrong. But that's okay. It's not the first time, nor will it be the last.

Trecapelli played, and he looks to be pretty steady on the back end. He is not flashy. He could use a little more size, but at 17, that will come.

Ogilvy hasn't played a game and with 9 forwards may not look good for him. Swartz, Plackaitis and Sol sat in the Soo and Allicock, Brodie and Chappel last night giving room for rookies to get some ice and be seen. Paichis did not attend camp as he had surgery and Tront apparantly pulled something in camp and can't play. I guess decisions need to be made on Paton, Kavanaugh, Fillman and Stewart up front and Trecappeli, Walsch, Ogilvy or Trades on D. Time will tell!
