well...this is a good one for the nay-sayers out there...everyone will say something about the stability of the organization yet we had 3 threads about everyone that disliked the Fic. Something's got to give on this one.
Without knowing, i'm guessing Muskegon's new ownership gave him several bags of money to bring some knowledge into their franchise.

I was one of the few Fic backers here in Saginaw. I enjoyed hearing him on the mic. Perhaps he left due to the potential ownership change in Muskegon and now that it is settled the new owners talked him into returning? Not sure. I wish him well, but not much time for Dickie G and Co to find a replacement.
GO SPIRIT!!!!

Yep I am sure the new ownership in Muskegon gave him a bag full of money to help bring some credibility and some ties to the old regime.
Would love to have Brady back but I don't see him leaving Windsor, unless it was a step up to the "A" or who knows, even higher.
Anyone have Cameron Knowles' cell phone #? HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

There are no "bags of money" laying around any UHL/now IHL franchise.
Brady is doing the drive time slot on Tronoto's sports talk station. Why would leave that full time position in a major market for a part time job here?

Sounds like he was a bit "home sick" and when the opportunity to go back to Muskegon presented itself he took it.

We can hope all we want but Greg Brady won't be coming back to do Saginaw Spirit broadcasts. Who is even out there in the local area that could potentially come in and assume the broadcasting duties, especially on such short notice?? Looks like I'll have to listen to London "homers" Mike Stubbs and Pete James next Thursday morning (Wednesday night).

;D What about that guy that does the Loons? I wonder if he does hockey? I wasn't really a Fic fan so I won't miss him. I liked his knowledge but his PBP voice made me cringe.

I will say it again, bring back Ron Jay Scott (from the old IHL Saginaw Gears days)!!! I used to get so geeked up every game when I was a kid when I would turn on the radio & right before the game started that voice came on & said "The Saginaw Gears are ON THE AIR!!!"!!! I say we hunt him down & bring him back! haha!
Or, some of the other names people threw around when Cam was leaving, like Dan Waxell (or whatever his name was) who won the announcer of the year back in the old CoHL/UHL days.
