Trecapelli's age doesn't matter. Edwards needed to sign someone since everyone else was not coming. As for Tront and McD...remember in a trade, the other team needs to see value in them...what is there to see?

What will we have on the blue line for next few years? It seems pretty simple to me. Flemington has already played in an exhibition game, so he is signed. (which means he is committed to Saginaw) Also, he is 6'4" , approx 230 lb and is a tough kid who isn't affraid to get physical. He looked good in camp, and in the X-game in Woodstock, so as a 16 year old there is lots of upside. Watson is giving the usual suspects the majority of the ice time anyway, so why not ease Flemington into the lineup, and ease Trecapelli out?
One other thing to consider. Trecapelli is from Guelph and played there last season. Head Scout Danny Haliburton lives in Guelph.
mmmmmm!
