I purchased some chicken tenders for 6.00 opening day, and they charged me .50 for 1 packet of sauce. Thats BS, and I have heard others complaining about it also. I will never buy them again. Now for the all important concession question......how much are beers going for this season?? |

Also Corrente got a match penalty, isn't that an automatic review by the league? I believe a match penalty is an automatic 1 or 2 game suspension that is also reviewed by the league office. The league can impose a longer suspension based on this review. Surprise, surprise, still nothing on the OHL website media notes section regarding a suspension to Mr. Corrente. Still nothing on the OHL website in the Media Notes section regarding a suspension to Corrente. Has anyone heard anything?? I checked and could not find anything about it on the Ice Dogs website. |

Don't forget--this is the same OHL that sometimes calls teams a week later--the day of a game--to tell a team that a player is probably going to be suspended from an incident a week earlier, and not to play him that night. They are S-L-O-W when it comes to match penalties.
Beers at the regular concession stands are 5.00. I hear through the grapevine that the beers at the portable stands in the concourse are the same price as last year, but smaller...........

Yea, the price hike is horrible, the new line system at the consessions sucks and they don't take credit/debit cards anymore. With those prices, one needs to mortgage the house before going to the game. I got two hot dogs and a soda and it cost $11. If michigan coney island can sell the same thing WITH coney sauce for $4.00 and make money, where's the other $7.00 going?

MY MAIN COMPLAINT WAS THAT WHEN YOU SPEND $6.00 ON SOME 3 CHICKEN TENDERS AND SOME FRIES YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR SAUCE, THATS A BIG BAG OF B.S.
AND ABOUT THE NEW LINE SYSTEM, IT ALSO SUCKS, WHY CHANGE SOMETHING WHEN IT WORKS JUST FINE. YOUR GOING TO HAVE A LINE NO MATTER WHAT WHEN THEIR IS 3500+ PEOPLE IN ONE PLACE.

Matt Corrente has been suspended indefinitely for his actions at the end of the game, per the OHL web site. The 'A' on the jersey sure did the trick to increase his maturity levels. Matt certainly has some "anger management issues" regarding Saginaw that he has yet to work through.................... |

Corrente received an 8 game suspension. Eligible to return the day after he is scheduled to play in the Canada-Russia Challenge series game in Kitchener. Don't know if they'll let him play in that game.

Don't know if they'll let him play in that game. The 8th game of the suspension occurs before the Canada-Russia game so I'm sure he will play in that game. The eligible to return date listed on the OHL website is the date of the next OHL game he can play in. |
