Ovsjannikov in goal. Played OK.
Scratches for Spirit besides those listed last night: M. Webb & M. Crawford. Each team played with 15 skaters. Perhaps Saginaw sat out two guys tonight to even things out.
Brown and Goetz dropped 'em at 3:02 of the 3rd. Both players landed a couple, but being the Homer that I am, I'd give a slight nod to Brownie. Tilt didn't last very long.
IMHO, best Spirit players tonight were Cairns, Artemov and Bennett.
Malarkey - nice seeing you again. Please add your comments.

Good to see you and your lovely wife, JohnT. Hope the trip home was smooth! My thoughts on the game: ....an assist on the Spirit's first goal by Kris Bennett seconds into the game could have gone to the Hounds Eccles on D. Basically let him go around him and head for the net. ....the Spirit dressed their 3 OA's and they accounted for 1G and 1A. .....SAG's goalie, a '97, Ovsjannikov played a pretty solid game but also got REALLY lucky more than once. ......there were some big time hits doled out by the Hounds.....and not all of them by the bigger players. ......Senyshyn scored a beauty goal. Came down the wing, cut for the net and sniped it home. ......we have some really creative players who can dangle and once everybody gets used to each other and lines gel, it could REALLY be something to watch....and some of them are rookies. ......it wasn't pretty, there was a lot of scrambley play, there were missed assignments but the guys hung in there and didn't quit playing until the final buzzer went. Unless an opposing player really catches my eye, I typically have a hard time remembering much about individuals.....so no Spirit player was exceptionally good or bad enough to lodge in my memory banks. Thought I would share this pic with you as Hayden Verbeek drwas a crowd. If you're interested in other pics from last night, check out James Egan's Sports Photography on Facebook or his webpage.
