USA wins it 5-3 earning an automatic quarter final spot and possible #1 seed in the single elimination portion of the Olympic hockey tournament. Red Wing defenseman Brian Rafalski had 2 of the USA goals. Former MSU Spartan goaltender Ryan Miller stood on his head in this game while Martin Brodeur had an uncharacteristically poor game in net for Canada. That was an exciting game. I didn't feel like the game was over until the empty netter.

MSNBC for hockey. Guess they figure it'll draw more than their regular broadcast.

USA beats Switzerland 2-0 today. Great timing for a hot goalie!
