Red Wings lost game 3 in OT to San Jose 4-3 to dig themselves a 3-0 hole. Can they dig themselves out?? Probably not. They may win game 4 but the Sharks will finish the job at home.

My son just showed me a replay of San Jose's OT goal on NHL.com and there are clearly too many men on the ice for the Sharks.

Sharks own the wings. They look like they're stronger, faster, and getting more of the good brakes. Not looking good for the wings.

Well, Detroit stays alive by taking games 4 and 5. Game 6 Tuesday at JLA.

The wings surprised me yesterday coming back from two down in a place they almost never win at. I still think that they are in a bad spot, but then again they haven't done anything yet to make their situation worse. Who knows, the flyers came back from three down last year (with worse goaltending) so maybe Detroit can do it to.

Outside of the Sox coming back from three down a couple of years ago, Hockey is the only sport that this happens in. Time to forget the previous six games. It's winner take all now.
