Has anybody ever heard why the games are not broadcast on live TV. What would it take to get that going? Most of the canadian games are broadcast.  |

My guess is the cost of the telecast is what limits the number of games on TV. Whatever TV station opts to air a game would need to pre-emt their regular schedule which doesn't set very well with their network.

you'd think they could use those new 'bonus' channels they got, like CW46 and my5. I'm sure the costs are an issue. I mentioned to a top exec at the Spirit (won't name names) that they should create a program with Delta and SVSU for sports broadcasting, delta has the station and equipment while SVSU has a BA in Communications which could easily include broadcasting. But I got the usual response "good idea", that was 4 years ago.
