Combs got hit in the Plymouth game on Monday. He was hit away from the play without the puck into the boards but he did finish the game. He missed a couple shifts.

Sounded like it was a crazy karem off the boards and their defenseman shot it into the empty net. Someone may help who is watching it on video.

it was a dump in from just inside the red line...pasquale moves behind the net to stop it and as he does, it hits a stantion (metal thing between the glass) just inside the blue line and richochets right into the net as pasquale tried to sprawl back for it. VERY VERY FLUKEY

Un believable loss, Zaborsky couldnt buy a goal toinight. Mcd with 2 good assists. Chappell and Schwars good goals. SAG clearly played down to OS level tonight. Score should have been 5-0 SAG. Hopefully Combs will be back in the line up soon.

This game really upsets me..
1. It was a huge game that we needed the points of. Thus this was our only western conf matchup this weekend.
2. Our starting goalie that is on fire, is on the bench, when he should be on the ice against the best team that we are playing in the upcoming 3 games we had. (Owen, Sudbury, Barrie)
3. Combs worries me. Shoulder injuries are nothing to joke about, but I doubt he will miss the all star game. I expect him on the ice at least one of the games this weekend.
4. The third goal that Owen scored, whether it be fluke or not, should not have gone in. Goalies are intended to protect the net, and they really shouldn't be leaving the net if its not necessary, and this time it was not necessary. Terrible play, terrible goal.
5. To sum this game up..We should've had this game. We should've had our starting goalie playing. We should've scored more than 2 goals. And our defense needs to learn not to make the same mistakes night in and night out, its getting a little ridiculous.
I'll try and be positive now and lets look ahead to the next 2 games. All I have to say is Daniels deserves the starts, we need the points, and the team plays much better in front of him. You can tell the entire team feeds off of Daniels' confidence. Lets go boys! We need 4 more points this weekend!

Got to play Pasquale sometime. I'm sure Daniels will start the next game.
Did they say Combs hurt his shoulder? I thought it was his leg.

Another issue with losing to OS is that now the Attack lead the season series 2-1 (4 points to 2) with 1 game to go. All they need to do to clinch the season series and have the tiebreaker with Saginaw is get to OT in the last game.

Hey Spiritgirl04 I would like to reply to your comments about Pasquale and the D. First Pasquale has played very well for us except the London game which I would not blame on him either. On the so called terrible play as you called it- a goalie is supposed to go out to try to stop the puck for the dmen so the can get it out of our end ASAP. If it is such a terrible play the why do 99% of goalies in the NHL go back to stop the puck for their dmen. It was a bad bounce nothing else but bad luck.
I'd like to question you on the remark about the dmen making the same mistakes over and over-what are these mistakes that are so bad?
The D we have this year are probably the youngest average age in the OHL and in my opinion have been doing an extremely good job. They move the puck very well and skate very well. They may lose some battles along the boards but they usually get back in position in time.
Ryan has been playing great lately but he needs to take some nights off or he will be burnt out by the time playoffs come.
