If they have to not put themselves in a position for the ref to make a call then they may as well take up figure skating.

The call against Swartz was terrible. Swartz made a perfect check with his arms down at his side and got called for a head check. If you have to avoid the chance to make a clean check then we are not even playing hockey anymore.

All I was saying is that I highly doubt that every ref in the league has it in for the Spirit. They are getting a ton of penaltes lately & other teams are somehow avoiding them. Whatever those other teams are doing must be working, as they are not getting into the penalty trouble Saginaw is.
