Another big game tonight against our division rivals. We haven't fared all that well against the Sting this year but hopefully tonight will be different. Let's go Spirit!

Sting will be missing their captain Wilson as well as Martin who were both suspended 2 games for their fights after the game Sunday vs Oshawa.
Spirit seem to rebound from subpar games like last night to play better, lets hope that is the case tonight.

OMG. Could this be ANY MORE like last night? Why is Jarram playing and Allicock sitting??? Not only does J do nothing for us LAST night but not fight and take costly penalties, but he started off the game with a double minor. Bench his a-----, ah, ahem, butt.

Thank God. Jarram gets a 2 and a 10. We've got a chance.
And bingo--Comrie--3-2 Sarnia.
Jarram=18 PIMs in first period.............
EDIT: Fic thinks Jarram may be hurt. Please, God--nothing major or even very painful--just keep him out of the rest of the game (If Watson doesn't already plan on doing that)

Jarram=18 PIMs in first period............. Score sheet says 16 PIMs... (6 PIMs plus the 10) - is that incorrect? I missed some due to work. Anyway, don't forget he has a team low -2 as well!

16 for sure--don't know if he squeezed another 2 in there or not. I was going by what Fic said. 16, 18, -2---whatever draft pick we gave up (8th round, I think) it's looking too high.......
OMG--I can hear Crazy Claude playing "it's a Wonderful World" in the background. I think I'm having a PTS flashback...........

It just came to me: David Jarram's performance since we got him is God's punishment to the Spirit for letting him wear Number 8. The poser!!!

Or as Fic says: "Goooood Grrrief....!!"
4-2 Sarnia is the final. Tomorrow's game is huge...hopefully a big crowd will be in attendance.

What is with this refereeing? I am not trying to defend Jaraam but when did they invent an attempt to butt end penalty? Is there a penalty for attempting to trip or hook?
Some of the penalties were very questionable. Both penalties to Crawford were not good calls. The first hooking penalty there was a ref not ten feet from the play and he can see what is going on and does not make the call but the ref that is 150' away makes the call. The second was a boarding call that was barely a push.
We seem to be on the wrong end of a lot of calls.

I think Saginaw needs to not put themselves in a situation where a ref could make a questionable call. More discipline is needed it seems.
