Just got done watching the movie. Charter has it on demand right now before it hits the theatre. It was $10 but I would recommend it to most hockey fan with a goofy sense of humor. It wasn't made for young kids though. Good hockey comedy though.

I almost ordered it last night until I saw the price. I am still debating spending the $10. It looks like it will be great tho!

Won't be on DVD for a while... they are doing something weird. They have it on Pay Per View, & then next month it comes out in theaters. I am guessing it will be a short run in theaters, so who knows, maybe on DVD by summer.

Per Amazon, Goon will be released on DVD May 29th. We're hoping to watch it in theater in Sarnia this week. Canadian friends that have seen it say it is stupid, but hilarious (as expected).
Another fairly recent release on DVD is Puck Hogs. Story line is about a beer league hockey team. Don't bother watching/buying it unless you're really bored with your life and have an hour and a half to waste.

No hockey movie will ever top "Slapshot". Any of you ever seen Rob Lowe and Patrick Swayze in "Youngblood"?? That actually has a junior hockey story line.
