Also going on tonight...the Soo lost again while Windsor wins, so the Spits have now moved into first place in the Western Division. The Soo were in 1st place for as long as I can remember...

Sarnia wins the shootout 4-3. So we don't gain on Sarnia but gain a point on Owen Sound. We're now up 11 points with 2 games in hand.

Jarram and Gazdic went toe-to-toe for a couple of minutes. Didn't appear that either one landed anything real solid. Luke got the takedown. I'd give the win to Gazdic, but it was very close.
Even though the Otters are in the OHL cellar, there was still a very good crowd at Tullio tonight. Erie fans are loud when they have something to cheer about (seldom, these days).
Spirit seemed to play the Otters game for the 1st two periods. We were worried. They took control in the 3rd, however.
McDonough, Combs, Chappell were awesome on the PP. Szwarz was give credit for Saginaw's first goal. Initially given to Combs.
PA announcer tonight did worse than the guy in Guelph last night:
Murovich was called Mur o' vich (and he's a local kid) Comrie was Com Rye
On to Johnstown (or is it Charlestown?) tomorrow night to see Ian Herbers' Chiefs take on Tommy Harrison's Trenton Devils in the home arena of Slap Shot. I'm determined to find out " who really owwwwnnnnns the Chiefs".
