Brampton is in town tonight to take on the Spirit. Brampton is currently on a two-game winning streak while we are on a two-game losing streak. Brampton has won eight of their last 10 games, the Spirit are 5-5 in the last 10.
What do you guys think? Will we be on our game tonight? Who gets the start in goal? I've missed the last few home games, anything I need to catch up on?
I'll be in the Dow tonight. The fiancee isn't going, so I'm going to make another attempt at listening to Fic tonight.
Go Spirit!

I think we're going to see a heavy dose of Ryan Daniels in net the rest of the way. We've got some busy weeks ahead so Eddie will get a few games in here and there but we're banking on Daniels to stand on his head in the playoffs and steal some for us so we've got to give him the nod the rest of the way.
If it was me, they'd split time because unless we get up to the 5th seed, realistically, we don't have much of a shot...but you do have to go with your "stud" goaltender to get him ready for a playoff run.

Agree...I'm thinking we are going to ride Daniels the rest of the way. After seeing how Kitchener dismantled us last Sunday, we need to get that 7th seed at least, or it could be a quick first round series unless we pick up our play.
Anyways, we've got a tough weekend on our hands. Hopefully we shake off our home woes and come out strong tonight.

End of the 1st period...1-0 Spirit. Sounded like we controlled the flow in that period. Hopefully that'll keep up.

It just hit me listening to the game - Ficorelli is the OHL's Harry Carey!
He's a "spitting" image! Literally and figuratively!
Slurred voice, warbling, mispronounciations ----- but the difference is Ficorelli is actually sober!
"Path me the Bud-weiss-urrrrrrr"

"Path me the Bud-weiss-urrrrrrr" You never heard Harry Caray when he was in his prime as a baseball broadcaster in the 60's, 70's, and 80's. He was arguably one of the best in the business. The slurring etc. later in his career were the result of health issues (I think he may have had a slight stroke). Unfortunately many people only remember him the way you described him which is really a shame.

Currently 2-1 Spirit...Szwarz made it 2-0 and then Brampton scored 32 seconds later with a goal by John Hughes (I think) to make it 2-1.

End of the 2nd period...2-1 Spirit lead. Fic and Dennis said it best, this is a very uneasy lead we have right now.
Tonight's attendance is 3115.

Besides the video tribute before the game, were there any other signs, banners, etc. to honor Mickey Renaud?? I know there was something special planned in lower level Section 18 (Mickey's number was 18 as pointed out on the NOOF by BPFox) so I would like to hear all about it.

Brampton tied up the game 3-3 but Murovich scored right after to make 4-3.
