Brampton scores a shorthanded goal with just over 7 minutes left to tie it 3-3. I don't think I've ever seen one team give up so many shorthanded goals than the Spirit have this season. AJ, the 3rd Brampton goal was even strength.....

Game over...Spirit win it 4-3! What a rediculous 3rd period that was.

Brampton tied up the game 3-3 but Murovich scored right after to make 4-3. Spirit win 4-3!! Nice to see the boys respond not once, but twice after Brampton tied things up.

Last night's game was AWESOME! One of the best I've watched all season. Both teams had good chances, and seemed evenly matched. A lot of back and forth hockey. WE were doing ALL the hitting last night. All of our goals were pretty goals. Just an all around amazing game. Glad I made it out, along with a very small crowd.
One note: Ryan McDonough — Whenever he is part of a 2 on 1 or something like that, he always seems to pass one too many times, when the other players aren't expecting it or whatever, and messes up the play. He needs to either SHOOT (by now no one would expect that), or they need to work on that play in practice.
Pasquale stood on his head, none of the goals were soft goals last night. Murovich played good, Swartz and Plekatus played good games as well. All around good effort. Hope we can keep that going in London tonight and then against the Generals on Saturday night.

I saw that Tront got his first 2 points last night, how has he been playing?

He's been playing well, but doesn't get a lot of ice time from what I've seen. He did OK last night.

To be honest, last night was the first time I'd really noticed Tront was there--in fact, I commented in the second intermission that since we'd gotten him he had done nothing. So naturally he played a really good third period and has the 2 assists, his first Spirit points. Guess I need to critique people more often. I would add to eric's comments that I thought Tomas Zaborsky played his best game of the season, especially in the second half of the game. There was one sequence where he stopped a guy from shooting, did some dazzling stick work to come up with the puck, and got a terrific scoring chance, all on his own hard work. Great game on both ends of the ice.

Yes, there were a couple shifts where Zaborsky seemed to be EVERYWHERE. He played like he should have played all season. Great game for Z.
I forgot to say, I listened to Fic during the game too, and my opinion has changed. He did a great job, and was very exciting to listen to. I don't want to start another pro-con debate about Fic, just wanted to say I thought he did a great job.
To the guy in section 16 who had to yell on TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS to Disco Stu, "nice hair," I think once was too many. If it was done in a funny, joking around way, that's fine. But it didn't appear to be friendly and was completely unnecessary. Grow up. Considering you are a season ticket holder and attend nearly every game, maybe you should just worry about what's going on on the ice and a little less about people's hairstyles. Glad you think you're funny, but you are not, as you were the only one laughing at your "joke."
