The thread about Taylor got me thinking and I thought it deserved its own thread. Now that we've clinched a spot and are going to be focused on positioning, who is going to be on the ice during the Anthem of Game 1 of the playoffs and who is going to be watching from the crowd. My take is below:
Forward Lines: Ryan McDonough - Jack Combs - Jordan Szwarz
Tomas Zaborsky - Tyler Murovich - Joe Pleckatis
Chris Chappell - Brad Smith - David Jarram
Defensive Pairings TJ Brodie - Adam Comrie
Garrett Sinfield - Nick Crawford
Chris Breen - Joe Underwood
Goalie Ryan Daniels
Extras (4) Eddie Pasquale (G) Brendan Taylor (F) Daniel Pachis (F) Jordan Ogilvie (D)

No differences at all on personnel. But I might change up the D pairings.....
Brodie-Crawford Breen-Comrie Sinfield-Underwood.
I was going to put Sinfield higher due to age and experience, but then I remembered that other than the Guelph sweep two years ago, he doesn't HAVE any more experience.

How does Sinfield have no experience? In the playoffs last year he played every game and was matched up against Jeffrey, Thornton and Tlusty. He ended the playoffs with an assist and +2 status.
This year they've also been playing underwood and Sinfield against the top lines (played against Tavares last game) and they've done a good job. Both are defensive players and I think they will have that same assignment in the playoffs.
You also forgot Cody Sol and Jason McD

I meant he didn't have any more experience than Crawford, for example, who also played every game. Sorry--I guess that wasn't very clear.

Ah yes. Then in that case you are correct. Spirit have yet to have a very good showing in the playoffs.

I wouldn't write any player off the roster yet .... could be anyone on that 4th line depending on the game and its need. All players have different strengths and probably will be utilized in a rotation.

Eaglei...I'm strictly talking about Game 1 of the playoffs...obviously depending on who we play and who's in the other team's lineup makes a difference. Let's keep the discussion to Game 1 and not the playoffs in general...basically, who's playing the best, right now.

DJ What happened to a 4th Line Do you think we've got enough talent to run 4 lines??? I sure don't think so...the playoffs are going to be a 3 line operation with the "extra" guys filling in here and there. If there was this supposed "4th Line" that everyone is calling for, take Ogilvie out of the lineup and put Tront in. That gives you a line of Pachis/Tront/Taylor...can you say "goals against."
