Pasquale is still dinged up...was supposed to play tonight against his old team. Watson said Daniels is going tomorrow as well.
Allicock is a healthy scratch i believe
Breen is hurt...i'd be guessing to say what
Pleckatitis came from Barrie i believe in the Clouthier trade.

Word I heard was that Breen has a broken jaw, but I don't know how severely. There are many levels of broken jaws. I did hear that Pasquale had a mild concussion. He got run behind the net last Sunday, finished the game, but has been having some symptoms.

What I heard (and you KNOW I'm nobody official, SSF!!!) is that he blocked a shot with his face in practice. Just to mention Breen is presently a +25, which if he holds it will break the franchise record of +23, held by some defenseman who played for us for 4 years wearing Number 8........And no, I did NOT know this stat off the top of my head--Fic mentioned it in the postgame show. (Also that Ryan McD is two goals away from tying the franchise record for goals in a season--didn't say who, but it's gotta be Nick Lees) ANYWAY--what I was getting at--Breen doesn't score much, but I think he is our best defensive D-man, and his absence is sorely felt. Heal up, Chris!

Always embarrassing for me to be known at work as the resident Spirit guru, and then get tripped up on something in front of the entire staff!! I felt your pain.....lol.

by the way the goals record is currently held by a player that played along side that #8 wearing #27 last year. FYI

(speaking of getting tripped up....) Did Pyatt break the season record last year? I knew he broke a bunch of them............yep, he did have 43. Getting old is hell on the memory!

Talked to Chris Breen last night after the game (and his mom - very nice lady), and he said he should be back before the playoffs. Didn't ask him exactly how it happened, but his mom told me that they were a little worried about him losing a few teeth, but looks like they might be okay. Bottom line - he'll be around once the dance begins!

by the way the goals record is currently held by a player that played along side that #8 wearing #27 last year. FYI And don't forget Pyatt did it in only 58 games due to his time away at WJC. Mathematically speaking he was on pace to have 50 goals in the season if not for the time away. And he killed penalties to boot.

He was a winner for us, no question. All our second round picks should turn out so good (Attention, Jordan Szwarz!!)

He was a winner for us, no question. All our second round picks should turn out so good (Attention, Jordan Szwarz!!) In Tom Pyatts rookie season he had 9 goals and 9 assists for a total of 18 points in 67 games. So far this season, Jordan Szwarz has 12 goals and 19 assists for 31 points in only 57 games. Me thinks he is already paying attention. Peace.
