Originally, that was the case, BP. However, there were a bunch of last minute cancellations due to the weather. The forecast as of early Saturday morning was for less than a centimeter of snow that day. Last I heard, we got about 27 cm thru late Saturday night when it stopped snowing. Ride down to Kitchener this morning was great. Roads (all 2 lane highways) were in pretty good shape. Coach Watson told me at the game that they got into Kitchener at 2:30am (which was really 3:30am with the time change). Also heard that they had some trouble dropping off the equipment at the Aud for drying/cleaning because of so much snow. I think Kitchener got more snow than Owen Sound.

Would that trouble be that they had to get some heavy machinery to pull the bus out of the snow at the Aud?? That's what we heard! And yes, Kitchener had about 8-10 more inches of snow than Owen Sound. We took an unexpected side tour of several residential streets today, and the amount of snow was staggering!! The drive to Kitchener today was gorgeous. I'm sure the people still snowed in along the way did not share our pleasure!
