If you havent ordered this game on livestream you should have. sag losing 2-3 all period and mcdonaugh scores with 10 seconds left or so. Going into overtime. Spirit was soo soo lucky.

Still a pretty darn big road point when every point counts. Good weekend boys, three more to go. Peace.
Spirit do fall back to the #8 spot however because Guelph beat London. The Spirit would slip back into the #7 spot later tonight if the Soo knocks off Sarnia. Me thinks the schedule makers are very proud of themselves right now.

Kivpit- I don't think Daniels should even be given the quote of losing the game in overtime.. He is the only reason we were in this game..did you happen to see the shots on goal or the way our defense played at times? Daniels deserved the win today, he made some outstanding saves and he was the ONLY reason we got a point outta Kitch today. Did you miss the fact he got a star? #2 to be exact, so maybe, just maybe he didn't play bad. So next time before you blame loses on him, maybe you should take a look at how many games this season he has won for us, guarantee the number of wins outweighs the number of games you think hes lost for us..
This boards a joke. You people need to learn the game of hockey before you criticize players..remember theyre the ones playing the game, you are just sitting in the stands thinking you know everything..

I am VERY happy we got at least 1 point today in Kitchener, because I honestly didn't think we'd get one since they had last night off, and it is the Rangers we're talking about. We just got to take care of business the rest of the way and hopefully we won't be finishing in the #8 spot.

Kiv, don't let one poster stop you from posting! "This board is a joke" if that's really how he feels about this place he wouldn't even be here. Probably just upset over the game? What fun would this board be if we saw things the same way? I wish I knew as much about hockey as ohlfan06. :-)

Yes he did a Hasek, but from what I saw his stick got caught at the far side by the Ranger/spirit player going behind the net so he was late getting over.,with no stick.
Why does no one mention how the Ranger D man can be so open. Where is the Spirit forward who should at least be in close proximity to the Ranger player? It was 4 on 4 everyone has a man, that mistake was a major error that led to the goal

Actually I don't think this is true...Sarnia did lose tonight 4-3 in regulation (so the Spirit and Sting are now tied in points), but Sarnia has 3 more wins than we do...I'll wait until the standings are updated to make sure. |

You are correct, Sarnia does have the tie breaker on Saginaw, my mistake. ......and so does Plymouth right now. I believe Guelph and Saginaw are tied in wins. If Saginaw and Guelph end up tied in both points and wins (a distinct possibility), Guelph will get the nod as the next tie breaker is head-to-head. Guelph won the season series against Saginaw 3 wins to 1. |
