Spits just defeated the Whale at The Barn. Very close game, Empty netter at the end. This erases Plymouth's game in hand on Guelph, Sarnia and the Spirit.

Huge game for the Spirit. Keeps 5th place withing reach. Way to go Spits. Friday's game is so important vs these same Spits. They are still riding an emotional high but are beatable. Guelph is in the driver's seat right now with games this week vs Erie and Owen Sound. Hopefully they will be looking past one or both of those teams. We are in store for the most exciting finish to a regular season since Saginaw has been in the league. Enjoy it folks. Peace.

I hope you're right bpfox but it is going to be hard to top that OT loss the last game of the regular season in Plymouth 2 years ago when the West Division title was on the line.

There is no question that season with the title coming down to the last game was, the most exciting finish. I don't think this season will top that. I guess what I am talking about is the western conference as a whole. It's never been this close and it's going to be exciting to see how it ends up. I find myself paying more attention to other games than I can remember doing when it was just us and Plymouth. So from that perspective, it's more exciting. So many possabilities, so many what if's, different kind of exciting. Peace.
