Congrats to Ryan and Jack.
Although Mursak had a solid season, it was not an improvement over last year when he was here. When the Spirit traded him, he had 6 goals...SIX!! Actually, the Spirit season started to get turned around after that move was made. Not saying that it was all him or anyone else, but sometimes it is a move like that which can jump start a season.
Was talking to some of my peeps a few weeks ago. The moves Edwards made this year and even the ones Mancini did the time he was here have for the most part all worked out. The Spirit had a solid regular season and who knows what will happen in the playoffs. Also, are certainly built to be a contender next year.
GO SPIRIT!!!!

yes, but, the ownership is still meddling!!!! Sorry, haven't heard much about that lately.
Good work by Jack and Ryan on the recognition...it means a lot more getting recognized by peers or coaches instead of the media and their usual bias

No real comment here on the season turning around, kk. And though I hated to see him go, I was not against the trade.
But I would say that we only saw Mursak 1 time after he left. For the record, he did not finish in any Top 3s in last season's poll. And as donjohnson says, it means a lot more coming from coaches.......
