I'm assuming this is the poster " twinsdad" since he's asked on occasion about recommendations for trips and the article mentions twin children. With this example of my deductive skills, it's pretty easy to see how I got roles on Miami Vice and Nash Bridges. www.mlive.com/spirit/index.ssf/2015/01/saginaw_spirit_fan_family.html#incart_riverGreat Article and congrats on finishing the journey! Next year you'll have to make the easy trip to Flint to add to the total!

Nice article! As a vet of many memorable road trips, I congratulate you on having done this while your kids were young. Their memories will last forever, and they'll be talking and remembering long into the future.

Very nice story. Been trying hard to get to as many rinks as I can, but it is certainly a challenge.
I do also hope they remembered that a new rink in Niagara opened this year...

Stu and I got to 20 pretty quickly. The problem is, the "20" is a moving target. We put the emphasis on getting to the old arenas first. Since we made the 20, new arenas were built in the Soo, Kingston, Oshawa, Niagara & Windsor. Plus, Brampton and soon Plymouth moved. We have managed to get back to the Soo and Windsor to visit their new arenas. To get back to current we will need to return to Kingston, Oshawa and Niagara. We will also need to make it to North Bay and Flint to get back to "All 20" I am sure by the time that happens, Erie may already have moved and will need one more. Yes, 20 is great, but it's a moving target.

There's nothing quite like a four game road trip. Funny thing is, the Spirit were only involved in one of those games

Johnt was at that London game--I remember talking with him about it.

But our travels do not have the drama of arguments, bickering, or the other stuff that make for interesting television. You may be lacking what the Kardashians, Real Housewives or the Kate8 have but you may have something that the Travel Channel might want. Do some internet digging and find an email for a producer on Travel and send him/her a message...would be pretty cool to see someone I "know" on TV.

Johnt was at that London game--I remember talking with him about it. That was a fun night. It took 4 hours to get from London to Sarnia. The funny thing was that when we got over the Blue Water Bridge there was zero snow on the Michigan side.

Sorry we could not give the team some good luck last night. The crowd there was so nice to us. They helped take pictures of us. Had one gentleman gives us his season ticket stub for our collection.
I will keep her anonymous just in case, but one of the player's mom got a hold of the Barrie Colts Operations and they flashed our names on the video boards and announced we got to all 20 OHL arenas with about 2 minutes left in the game. I cannot express how cool that was! A lot better than getting on the screen in London and getting booed by the entire arena a couple of years ago.
Going to see about contacting the Travel Channel. The Mrs. says we could offer to do a "30 ballparks in 30 days" pitch.

Glad to hear the "last" arena was a good trip, and I thought it sounded like the boys played well, so maybe you did bring them luck!
LOL at the London comment!!

The kids and I feel a little bummed now. Kind of like having all the excitement about Christmas, then when it is over, duldrums come in. We can look forward to going to Flint next year but...it isn't quite the same.
My daughters key chain collection looks nice. My son's hockey puck collection looks good now that it is filled. Ironically, this is Barrie's 20th season. So his puck from Barrie, our 20th arena, has "20" on it. I tell you what, if that isn't a sign that we are doing right, I am not sure what is.
Again, thank you all for your support. I hope you all get to do this with people you love. It is something worth doing.
