I'm posting this at the request of a friend affiliated with the Flint Generals.
The Generals are offering Spirit fans a $2 per ticket discount for their 4 remaining regular season home games. The discount does not apply to the playoffs. Anyone interested can pick up their discount coupons at the Generals Merchandise Store in Perani (IMA) Arena. You must show either a Spirit ticket stub or a Spirit Discount Card issued to season ticket holders.
Remaining home games are:
Saturday April 5 vs. Bloomington* 7:30pm Sunday April 6 vs. Muskegon 4:00pm Friday April 11 vs. Fort Wayne 7:30pm Saturday April 12 vs. Fort Wayne 7:30pm
* Darren McCarty will drop the ceremonial puck and have a brief autograph signing prior to this game.
Since our Spirit season is over, why not take a ride a few miles down I-75 and watch the Generals in action?

Nope, DJ. Simply phrased the last sentence as a question. Sorry.

I read that the Generals gave up 4 goals in 35 seconds in a 9-4 loss this past Saturday! That's nuts. The newspaper article mentioned on whether or not it was the fastest 4 goals scored in the history of pro hockey (if you want to call the IHL "pro hockey"). I'd imagine it probably is a record.

Wow, who is their goalie? Stevie Wonder? ;D
