When are we going to see this guy? Why isn't his suspension mentioned anywhere on the web especially the Media Notes on the OHL page? I thought I remember seeing someone say end of the month, well, we're just about at the end of the month, will we see him this weekend?

I think he is eligible to come back on Sunday vs. Guelph.

Hayden was under suspension when we aquired him. He is eligible to return the 31st. Not sure why it was never listed on the ohl site. Possibly with the trade it was to difficult for the Branch and the league to figure out when he was eligible to return (only slight sarcasm intended)

He better be already signed as an O/A for next year, or it could go down as the worst trade in the history of ever.

Not sure how true it is but I heard that when the trade was made it was only a 2 game suspension. After the league approved they came back later and added the other 8 or whatever it is. If true Spirit had better be raising hell.

If true Spirit had better be raising hell. My guess is the suspension was a minimum of 2 games. The incident happened on a Friday night and Sarnia had games Saturday (in Saginaw) and Sunday. The trade deadline was Monday and Hodgson was dealt to Saginaw. Then the league completed their review and assessed the remaining 8 games. And no point of complaining to the OHL, they really could care less what anyone thinks.

Hodgson in lineup for Sunday. Any guess at the lines for his return?

I'm with you, even if Hodgson gets a career ending injury on his first shift tomorrow, the trade that brought him here will only be the second worst trade in Spirit History.

The suspension is now listed on the OHL Media Notes...after he returned. What a joke.
I tried to pay attention to him last night...seemed kinda invisible out there but I'm sure it will take a few games to get comfortable with new teammates.

I think he took about 7 or 8 shifts

I watched him when he was out there. Looked OK. Didn't stand out particularly, but seemed to be in position and in the play like he should be. Almost had an assist on one almost goal.

After watching this guy play on Sunday, I think it was a very good trade to get him IF he sticks around next year for an OA season. He'll get some chemistry with players this year and next year will be at minimum a 2nd line forward and I can see him scoring 35-40 goals next year with his size and strength. He took a couple wrist/snap shots that were harder than some of our guys slapshots. Giving up a few picks and warm body in Paliani is an easy trade to make in my book.
I know this season has been a giant disappointment but I'm still giddy for next year.

He better be here for next year considering you gave up a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and Paliani for him
