Vote and discuss......I'll stick with the OHL and pick the Petes.

Petes lost tonight to the host Moncton Wildcats 4-2. Moncton is in the drivers seat as far as getting the bye straight to the championship game. Records now stand as follows:
Moncton 2W - 0L Petes 1W - 1L Quebec 1W - 1L Vancouver 0W - 2L
Remaining round robin games are Petes vs Vancouver and Moncton vs Quebec. If the Petes and Moncton both win their last round robin game, it will be the Petes and Quebec in the semi final with the winner playing Moncton for the Memorial Cup.

The Memorial Cup playoff round match ups are now set. With last night's Petes loss to vancouver and Quebec beating Moncton tonight here's how things stack up:
Thursday: Tie Breaker Game, Vancouver vs Petes, Vancouver is the "home" team due to their head-to-head win over the Petes in the round robin.
Friday: Semi Final Game, Moncton vs Tie Breaker Winner
Sunday: Championship Game, Quebec vs Semi Fianl Winner
The Petes have history against them. Since the tournament went to the current format, no team playing the tie breaker game has ever gone on to win the Memorial Cup. Maybe they'll be the 1st to do it......GO PETES!!!

Unless the Petes make a come back they'll be heading home after today's game. Petes are down 3-0 to Vancouver mid way through the 2nd period.

Ok, so that's the end of the Petes...6 PP goals? Good job by the Giants to capitalize. The Vancouver/Moncton game should be excellent. Vancouver has to have picked up a ton of momentum after the way the played today, but I still think Moncton's the better team. Either way it's going to be an interesting final.

Moncton beat Vancouver in the semi-final. Quebec then beat Moncton 6-2 to win the Memorial Cup.....a bit of revenge for Quebec after losing the QMJHL championship series to Moncton 4 games to 2.
