Does anyone have any idea what a OHL radio announcer makes per game? Week? Season?

I'm sure it depends on the team. Someone like Fic probably makes a decent amount because he's a full-time employee. Someone like Dennis Derosier probably doesn't get a lot for doing color commentary. Hopefully he's not paid by the word, because he barely gets any in when Fic is announcing. haha.
Personally, if they wanted to let me do it, I'd just ask for the free ticket and parking. :-D hint hint hint, Spirit are you listening??? haha

Agree w/ that abt the ticket and parking, eric. Except I would rather have Mark Constantine's job. I write just as well, and I promise I wouldn't make such dumb mistakes.......

Back at the inaugural season I was a student at Delta College and since I was a journalism major, I was working at their newspaper. I contacted the Spirit about getting a press pass for a game so I could write an article. Cameron Knowles was who I talked to. Well, he not only gave me a press pass for that one game, he gave me one for the season. I got to do what M.C. does, and it was awesome. I have tons of photos at home that I took from ice-level too, and I used to watch from the press area upstairs. That view is awesome up there. No one can walk in front of you and you're right over the bench so you can see anything that is going on down there. It was pretty cool.
After the half-way point I no longer worked at the Collegiate, so I made an ethical decision and stopped using the press pass. Boy do I miss that.
I'm an actual newspaper reporter now, but I would do just about anything for M.C.'s job. I'm not bashing him, just wish I could get paid to watch the Spirit! haha.
