They had some big boys at the Dow yesterday at check in. I think this team got bigger but still need to figure out where goals are going to come from. Perfetti, Jenkins, Giroux and Porco should add some but Cosky probably gone so need two more to fill out top 6. I’m assuming Busdecker is one but not sure who steps up after that??

If Coskey returns that solves the problem, however, if not than keep Gilmour he is top 6 on any team. OAs if Prosvetov and Coskey are no shows then why trade a good player like Gilmour who has played well in the playoffs. That leaves only Busdeker, Gilmour and Webb as OAs. Top 6 looks something like? Perfetti-Jenkins-Giroux Porco-Gilmour-Busdeker 4 drafted players and a 1st Rd pick next year that's not to shabby. |

Any trade talks around the arena? I haven't been able to make it down. I would think that Prosvetov, Webb and Gilmour would be thinking they could be gone soon.

All going to depend on what NHL teams decide at camps. I would assume Saginaws preference is to keep Ivan, DJ, and Cole and move Brady and Riley. But if the Coyotes feel Ivan is better in the ECHL and the Islanders decide to sign Cole and send him to the AHL thier decisions will be made for them. |

Ivan and Cole are more likely to return than Wilde. The other 2 might not be around as well. Ivan would be better off in Saginaw, Coskey too. Their development and leadership on a contending team creates quality TOI, teams top 3 minutes for Coskey. He could put up some monster numbers playing with Perfetti, Jenkins, Porco or Giroux? Goldowski is playing like he can, huge year for him if put in the right role. It is a guy like him with a breakout season that makes a huge difference. If he can put up 50 pts would be huge. Smith has shown he can create offense, Bloom looks like a keeper same with T-Bone lots of speed. As far as Webb, if it works out that he stays due to numbers he will help our D. He was good enough last year in the playoffs and would help anchor our D this year. That would leave Webb and Busdeker with room to add a Thomas or Damiani. |
