I think like other things, Facebook has taken over. As annoying as it can be at times, I'm already on Facebook so I'll join in the discussion in the Spirit Fan Nation group because it's there in front of me. I have to actually intentionally come to this site to post. Even though I prefer the banter here more, with other people not posting here either, this site gets a visit every day or two versus Facebook that I'm on nonstop. I can’t follow the Spirit Fan Nation Facebook page anymore. It seems like a bunch of kids, puck bunnies & even adults that are WAY too wrapped up in these kids playing for the Spirit. I just couldn’t handle it anymore. |

I just couldn’t handle it anymore. I know what you mean. They click on my photos so I’m still there. But yes, there is a lot of immaturity there, and the whole “no negative posts” thing only applies to some people. It’s irritating. |

No not Brian although I don’t expect him to not be around much long before he gets his own team. He’s the hardest working guy in the OHL, always seeing him at games in Detroit.

Foxy this site need your help and wisdom, pay us a visit more often. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the written stylings of bpfox but what is there really to talk about? The team has won 5 of the last 7, Porco has been discussed ad nauseam and the season just has to play out for a while to see where we are at league wise. While we've played a couple extra games we are tied for the most points in the western conference and things are ok...after all the rough years I'm perfectly fine with ok. |

Yes even I have to accentuate the positives going on here. Rookies and other younger players are starting to step up. Katic and Goldy are more involved. The vets have been playing great minus one. Our D, especially Solovyov and Smith look great. The rest have steadied up. Lennox was a beast the other night.
We will have to wait and see about the backup goalie. Yes a true center ( a McLeod ) would be ideal, and another top right handed D would be nice, but not yet. Lets see where we go. Play on McDuff!
