Jezz,
does anybody post here any longer? I go to HF boards because this place is dead as a doornail!
BTW the Spirit have won 2 on the road playing some solid hockey with plenty of shots...but...crickets.

it’s just the calm before the storm. If those guys aren’t coming back and it’s decided that the team is going for it it will be a fun year this year but, it will cripple this organization for years to come. Everyone’s waiting to see what will happen.

I also have been wondering why it's so quiet. The Spirit are in 1st place in the Western Conference! Buzzy is playing defense for the foreseeable future and is doing a fantastic job. He played over 25 minutes in Thursday's game. The question is why is Buzzy filling in on defense and the team doesn't call someone up? |

I think like other things, Facebook has taken over. As annoying as it can be at times, I'm already on Facebook so I'll join in the discussion in the Spirit Fan Nation group because it's there in front of me. I have to actually intentionally come to this site to post. Even though I prefer the banter here more, with other people not posting here either, this site gets a visit every day or two versus Facebook that I'm on nonstop.

I'm sure it'll pick up as we get into the second half of the season. I'm still holding out hope that one of Wilde/Ivan comes back, but who knows at this point. I think regardless you gotta go for it again this year.
Maybe there is more action on The NOOF.
