The Athletic is currently doing a series ranking each NHL team in terms of their prospects. The Islanders are #23, Wilde is #2, behind Oliver Wahlstrom. The author regards him as a boom or bust, and he leans toward the boom. He didnt say anything we dont already know—his strengths are on offense, his weaknesses on defense. Cole Coskey checked in at #11, with a reasonably upbeat report—except on his skating. Again, something we’re aware of. #17 (last) was Blade Jenkins. Failure to progress is what put him there. Interesting series—if you’re an Athletic subscriber (which I highly recommend) check it out.

I saw somewhere there was a deadline date for Bode to be returned to us by. Does anyone have/recall what that date is again? I'm thinking VERY slim chance, but still curious as to that cutoff date...

I read an article the other day that says there is no deadline for re-assignment. It’s strictly up to the Islanders.
