Guelph is in town for the game that was originally supposed to be played on November 2nd. As you may recall, the 11/2 game was postponed due to poor ice conditions. Last Wednesday, the Spirit broke the Popovich curse. Can they break the Guelph curse tonight? The Spirit have lost 5 straight games to Guelph going back to last season’s Western Conference Final playoff series. In those 5 games, Saginaw has managed to put the puck in the net only 6 times. Hopefully that scoring trend changes for the better tonight. See Ya At The Rink Gang!

Still can't get the Guelph monkey off our back. 3-2 loss in the shootout tonight. On the plus side, another goal and assist for Duhart tonight. He continues to impress since the trade.

On the minus side Cardwell gets at least a 2 game suspension for the slew foot. And a very reliable source told me that Jenkins has a torn ACL after the knee on knee hit that Guelph got a whole 2 minute minor penalty on. That idiot referee #25 Monette is worse than Hutchison. Never thought I would ever say that.

On the minus side Cardwell gets at least a 2 game suspension for the slew foot. So Cardwell gets a match penalty with suspension. I am confused as to why the two players from Flint who got match penalties in the November 27th game have not gotten any suspension. Any insight on this would be welcome. |

There is an automatic 2 game suspension for any match penalty. Are you looking at the OHL site? Because automatic suspensions usually arent posted.

Joey just interviewed Blade between second and third period. Nothing about the interview gave me the feeling he’s done for the season. Anyone hear anything?
