In your lifetime, no matter how old you are...who are your favorite NHLers? I will not list Orr, Howe, etc...because I was too little to remember watching them. These are not in order and are personal favs...not who I think is the best.
1.Yzerman-Ultimate captain. Played hurt alot. 2.Mike Bossy-Awesome shot. Pure pure goalscorer. 3.Chris Chelios-Especially when he was young and fearless. 4.Wendel Clark-Again, especially when he was young and fearless. 5.Bob Probert-Pre cocaine bust of course. 6.Peter Bondra-Sniper. Very nice every time I spoke to him. 7.Dino Ciccarelli-Played with a metal rod in his leg. Tough customer who scored 500 goals. 8.Adam Foote- Defensive defenseman. Dominant. 9.Gerard Gallant- The original power forward. 10.Al MacInnis-What a shot!

1. STEVE YZERMAN! He has never given up. He perservered and has continued to go through heck to play the game he loves. He has been loyal to the Wings organization and the city of Detroit. Good guy and great player. Has been my favorite since I started watching hockey when I was young.
2. Brendan Shanahan 3. Nicklas Lidstrom 4. Mathieu Dandenault 5. Jiri Fischer 6. Pavel Datsyuk 7. Henrik Zetterberg 8. Manny Legace--met him once in Grand Blanc and was a really nice guy. He treated the fans well. 9. Vladimir Konstantinov--it was a shame his career was cut so short. He was such a force back on the blueline. 10. Tomas Holmstrom
