It's game number 3 of the 3 in 3 days. Hopefully the Spirit play like they did last night. Windsor won again last night so the Spirit are still 2 points out of first place. Take a good look at the team tonight because some of them may be traded by the end of the week (I'm not trying to start any rumors).

If they do trade players off this roster and go for it, they won’t have much left for the next couple seasons. If the roster didn’t change today returning non OA’s next year would be 7 forwards and 4 defense with 1 goalie. With 3 overeager they have 15 returning. Take away the younger players this year and it gets real slim. Also they have an import opening but who knows what they do with that. I still think they should of sold the 19 year olds and got picks and players to build off the last two years drafts while remaining competitive.

Don't forget that we don't have to just be "buyers" (for you bpfox). We could trade an older player who may be valuable for an OA spot for another team next year for a younger one (or picks). Lots of different possibilities can happen and there's also the possibility of keeping our players and only trading picks. But step one is keeping the momentum from last night and drubbing the sting.
