The posters on the Windsor message board are saying Perfetti shouldnt be playing today, because league rules prohibit 4 games in 4 days. Anybody know anything about that?
Playing Windsor at Windsor at the end of a 3 on 3–not exactly an ideal situation, especially if we’re down to 4 D.

I didn't even think about that... It's actually probably a good rule (if it is a rule) and Perfetti should sit today to give him a break. Give someone like Bloom a little more ice time today... Sure it's a big game but I'd rather rest Perfetti and beat Windsor in the playoffs than burn him out or risk injury.

Kind of my take too, Don. And I’d like to see Bloom get a little more ice time (although not necessarily at Cole’s expense!!); through no fault of his own, he’s caught in a logjam. I appreciate it’s difficult for a rookie to move up on a team like the Spirit this year.

Apparently there must not be a rule that applies to things like Top Prospect games—Perfetti is in the lineup. Smith is not, and Bulovs is the 5th D.

Spirit lose 5-3. Lennox was pulled early 2nd period after giving up 2 quick goals allowing Windsor to take a 4-1 lead. By all accounts Frappier was outstanding in relief. Saginaw made it close in the 3rd period cutting the lead to 4-3 but Douglas scored late to make it 5-3.

Would love to see the TOI stats for the D today. Very valiant effort, all things considered.
